Players must prove that they are smarter than the average platform-hopper in D3Publisher's Yogi Bear, based on the 2010 computer-animated and live-action feature film. The game follows Yogi through a series of Jellystone Park locations, in which he must run, jump, slide, and sneak his way past easily annoyed campers and into tricky hiding spots. Ranger Smith needs photos of the endangered animals that live in the park. With the help of his unflappable companion Boo Boo, Yogi is on a mission to snap them all. Players explore tiered 2D platform levels, searching for examples of each endangered species. If they happen to come across a pic-a-nic basket or two along the way, it would only seem natural to grab a bite for a quick bonus -- but if Yogi gets caught bothering the campers, it will set him back in his primary task. Even without nabbing snacks from unsuspecting tourists, Yogi finds plenty of collectable goodies along the paths through each level. He also finds trampolines and zip-lines in special locations, to help him reach remote areas. Pieces of makeshift equipment that Yogi assembles, such as roller skates or a pogo stick, are the key to making it past some of the game's most challenging obstacles.
