Unreal Tournament 3 -the haunted hells reach Split screen giude

-this is a guide for the people that still play unreal tournament 3,
the ones that want to play one of it's mods, or the recently released game
"The Haunted: Hells Reach" (which started as a mod for UT3 anyway!) in local split screen mode

-i don't own this guide (most of it anyway) it belongs to a website ,which is now dead
so i was lucky to save the webpage before it went down,
and now you are lucky cause am in a sharing mood

-the guide only mentions the way with x360 controllers, but if u don't have some (like me)
you can grab the x360 controller emulator (included) , it's a small program that should be put in your game
folder inside the "binaries" folder (and in win32 folder for hells reach), it should make your system treat your normal controller as a 360 one

-there is an old version (which am using, tested and verified)
and there is a new version..which i didn't test
the old version needs tweaking the .ini file
(which maybe a little tricky but not impossible)
and the new one got a sleek, easy GUI..but i didn't test it..so u choose

one small piece of advice though, if u decide to go with the new version,
set the "hook mode" in "options" tab to "compatibility".

-and lastly..i am a medical student (trying to be a doctor here people!)
don't expect too much support from me as i don't have that much of a free time

P.S: after your check out the webpage,

1-changing the "UTINPUT.ini" file is necessary only
if you want to play UT3..
Hells reach does not require that

2- the default console key is F10, in case u don't want to change it
