Hopefully now even better than ever.
In the attachment is a windows commandline executable that handles the following operations:
- No disc seek while loading (stops freezing at splash screen on V9).
- Compatibility menu facelift with new built-in modes.
- V12 PSTwo support (for Automan's interface).
- Stop cdvd-drive motor after loading (use ONLY with disc based booting).
- Bigger game list (fit more titles on screen).
- Force into NTSC-display on PAL machines (fullscreen image).
- LBA 48bit patch (allows full use of HDDs up to 2 terabytes).
- Position screen.
- Force default language.
- Change splash and main image.
- Change font.
하드로더 언패커 버전 패치 입니다.
- Change button image.
- Change colors from separate textfile.
- Change texts from separate textfile.
- Extract images, font data, colors & texts.
The patches can be installed to already skinned versions of HDLoader. Exception is the new built-in options (/C). For that it's best to use a clean file for it to work properly (tough luck HDA people).
Thanks go to Clement & Crazyc for their hard work with the 48bit LBA support & Crazyc for the language/date/time/dvd9/net/buffer/sc2 fixes & Team Xtender for supplying their HD Connect kit. Linux binary by sL1pKn07 and the base of all the evil stuff by sjeep.
--------------- Tiny FAQ section ------------------
Q: Does Soul Calibur 2 work with this without patching the game?
A: Yes, it does now.
Q: Can I patch the TOS0.2 core HDL with this?
A: Only partially. Everything else can be done except "Compatibility menu update" & "LBA 48bit patch".
Q: After patching with /C none of the installed games work. Why?
A: There might have been previous patches in the core that now overlap with the new options set inside HDL. Better try patching a clean unpatched file.
