multiMAN 01.11.05 Updated – Added Experimental PS2 Backup Support
또 하나의 크리스마스 선물이 있었군요
실험적이긴 하다만 PS2 Backup mannage 기능도 포함되었습니다-_-;
제가 PS2 백업을 사용해본적이 없어서 PS2용 애뮬이나 구동홈브류?/플러긴은 잘 모르겠네요
실험해볼 파일이 제겐 없군요;;
글 올려두면 크래커잭님께서 좋은 강좌로 알려주시겠죠..^^;;
backups, ftp, filemanager, images, hex reading, MP3′s and now he has added PS2 backup support, it is still in the experimental stage, but deanrr is on the way, to having a complete Media Center for the PS3:

For those of you who wish to experiment with PS2 backups:
1) Proper category_game_tool2.xml required to enable PS2 disc icon in XMB/GAME column in jailbreak mode
2) Original PS2 game required
3) Original PS3 game required (PS2 구동을 위해 PS3 game도 필요한거로군요)
4) PS2 backup extracted in one of the folders where multiMAN looks for games (usually with your PS3 backups)
multiman에서 인식되는 backup 폴더 아무거나 한곳에 PS2 backup을 풉니다
1) Reboot your PS3 in JB mode : 이제 JB모드로 재부팅하세요
2) Put original PS3 disc : PS3 disc를 넣고
3) Launch multiMAN and mount your PS2 game backup
: 멀티맨을 돌려서 PS2게임을 마운트하고 (기존 PS3게임할때와 동일한거네요)
4) Replace the PS3 disc with original PS2 disc
: 이제 넣어뒀던 PS3 게임을 꺼내 PS2 오리지날 disc로 교체하세요
5) PS2 disc icon should appear in GAMES column. Try to launch it.

As it seems people will misunderstand the purpose of this, i would like to remind people that this is only for BC(Backwards Compatible) PS3 Consoles.
이건 어디까지나 PS3 backup 호환을 위한거라는거 알아달라네요
Also, with this new version, you guys who owns backward compatible PS3 console can now test the experimental PS2 game backups support that he recently tested with. (PS3에서도 PS2 game 즐긴다는..)
Unfortunately, he does not have the BC PS3, so it’s up to you guys. The experiment is pretty easy to do, you guys just have to follow these instructions from Dean himself: (하기 쉬우니 다음을 따라하시라는..)
Make sure you are able to see original PS2 game discs in jailbreak mode.

If you don’t see PS2 discs you’ll have to
(안보이는분들은 따라하세요)
1) Use /dev_flash RW enabler (like mount_alejandro or freeflash) and replace category_tool2.xml in /dev_flash/vsh/resource/explore/xmb/ folder)
or
2) Use emulated /dev_flash with JaiCrab’s FW loader.
I suggest that you do the former (1) because it is much better.(자기가볼땐 1번 방법이 낫겠답니다)
Couple of months ago I posted the proper category_tool2.xml in mutlMAN’s PS2 backup test thread.
(두달전 포스트에서 category_tool2.xml로 multiMAN에서 PS2 백업을 다뤘다네요)
The changes to the XML make your PS3 to see PS2 discs in JB mode and allows you to create PS2 memory cards.
(이제 JB모드에서 PS2디스크가 보이고 PS2 memoryz카드도 만들 수 있다네요..맞나??)
If you’re done with this you’ll need a PS2 game backup in a FOLDER (like the PS3 backups). So no .iso files or other images but a simple folder copy (if you have to – extract the .iso).
PS3와 PS2를 같은 폴더에 두지 말라는거 같네요..
Then put such backup with your PS3 games and multiMAN will find it and will show it as PS2 game.
